My Brother An Xiaotian - a film commemorating the upcoming Special
Olympics, which premiered last Friday in Shanghai - tells the story of
the ordinary family of a mentally challenged son named An Xiaotian.

?

For An's sister, An Tong, the realities of having a mentally challenged
brother makes life tough and even creates friction between her and her
boyfriend.

But facing these hardships gives An Tong an opportunity for a fresh
start, and she reinvents herself to become a better person.

An Xiaotian's character is played by mentally challenged actor Lei
Junshen.

The film will open at cinemas in China on September 22 and will tour 12
Chinese cities with the Special Olympics torch,

The 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games will open in Shanghai in
October.
